- Buy your groceries a few days before your event. Last minute trips cost you time and make you tired.
- Double- check the pantry . Do you have enough condiments, beverages and napkins. Also , check the frezeer for ice.
- A day before the party , prepare as many menu items as possible. Wash and trim vegetables ahead of time. Peel and slice potatoes- they will stayfresh and crisp if left soaking in water overnight.
- The night before, set the table and chill beverages.
- Save even more time by making dessert a day in advance.
- Burn a CD of your favorite songs to play as background music.
- Most importantly, make sure you have prepared enough food for your guests .
- Don't send your guests home hungry! Haaaave ample amounts of food for the evening. enjoy leftovers for lunch the next day
